Should be a solid fight. Troy hasn't had much of a chance to stand up and bang with his opponents, and we all know that Scott is going to want to finish this one standing. I predict an exciting KO!

WHY! Scott is u f c material now. why would he consider this fight? even in a u f c event this fight would make no sense? he would be taking a couple steps down in comp. no disrespect to troy. cant wait to see how this one turns out. im sure it will last longer than my last fight.

I could not agree with you more its like a Dragon vs Hit Boy...Man vs Boy same result easy tune up win. O yes, no disrepect to the Hit Boy or Troy for that matter...just my two cents. Now that was funny last longer than your fight.:D

I knew that one was coming..lol...it was differant with Kenny and me though, cause Kenny was taking a step up in comp. I was someone that was willing to stand and bang, I ahve a proven amatuer record, I could beat anyone that Kenny has fought before, Phil and Chris B. being the toughest.
Scott is taking a step down.

Agreed, i keep hearing this "K-1 level leg kicks" about Fuller also but i just cant seem to believe it. I mean you really HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT.

Troy was an alternate for a fight at 185. That was set between the PFC and Troy probably a month or so ago. This fight opened up and Troy jumped at the opportunity.
He said it best " I have nothing to lose. Scott Smith wants to stand and trade kicks and punches and I love kicking people."

Troy has better standup then most people give him credit for. I didn't trade with Troy for more then a couple of seconds (intentionally) but what he threw was fast, I have to give him that. It was all the other functional areas of MMA (sprawl, wrestling, postioning, and submissions) that were lacking. But he has lost to a Who's Who list of local fighters including Poppies, Green, Pat Murphy (smoker) and me. Can't say he doesn't get out there and try.
That being said, Scott Smith is, well, Scott Smith. Dude hits as hard and as fast as almost anyone in the game, an ANY organization. He is skilled and represents a tough team. He will win the fight.
And everyone, and I mean everyone, will be glued to their seat to watch it. Some will watch it to see how fast it will be. Some will watch it to see if Troy could pull of an underdog feat beyond scale. Some will watch to see if they witness smith pull off the first decapitation by punch in the history of MMA. But regardless, a fun fight to see.

Ok Tosh, good try, and a respectfull showing, very PC. Now, I'll put two jelly doughnuts,and a bottle of (cheep red wine- 2buck chuck- for me and a 40oz of St. Ides for you) on the fight lasting less than 1.5 minutes with SS walking out victorious.
(Two jelly doughnuts is so you and Ruger don't interupt a training session when you meet in the middle of the first one and people think MMA training really is gay porn.)

I'm glad to see Scott Smith back at The Palace even if it is just for 1 minute and 13 seconds (My Prediction). He wants a tune up fight and am glad he chose the PFC to come and showcase his new talents he gained off the show and where else better to take a fight, someplace he had fought before and feels comfortable.
The PFC is going to blow up and just think it is going to do it with local fighters and the hard work they put in the gym everyday. Another good thing about it is we are not going anywhere because this is the true homebase and we cannot be bought out and moved away like other companies have no pun intended.

It is my undertanding that Troy, while brash, is also capable of learning. He gave a verbal retraction to (Circle T) for his harsh comments regarding the Sheepdog (Does the sheepdog have Grillz yet?) and admitted it was "cute" after his loss to a then, slim and sleek Tosh (Not the Dan Severen-like mass he is now -- its a long road back to 205, or at your age, it might be a Bridge too far!).
Troy won't risk another bad episode of K-9 Karma coming back to bite him in the ass.
Ya think Troy thinks Troy can win? (I don't)
None the less, it is gonna be fun to watch SS in action, good fight, ruff matchup, fun KO to watch!

I wish I was 6ft tall, but much as with Poppies smurf, I'm only two apples tall. I also wish I was only 205....but last I saw, Tosh also was wishing he was ONLY 205.
I have much faith in the sheepdogs pick of SS winning the fight, the K-9 Karma haunts him. The best fight of his career was the pre fight trailer attack launched on Double Wide Del Real with a banana peal on the steps of the trailer scooby doo style. Way to go Shaggy! Somebody messed up and gave the whole box of scooby snacks to Tosh, and from the looks of him last time I saw him, the sheepdogs best guard there kibbles, I think he's dipping into them for a midnight snack. (*Ie. Tosh, too lazy to go to the fridge on crutches, stops en route, tastes kibble, proceeds with grill in doggy bowl tell its empty. Continues to bone, chews all day to get the decicious marrow, sits, rolls over, changes channel with remote.)

That's the funny thing, Paying Troy to fight is like hiring a magician that dies everytime he performs a show. They will pay him whatever he asked for, just to watch it happen. Each time he gets his ass handed to him, everyone gets to laugh and pick on him, but it sells. Its like porn, people will always pay to see someone get F****D. (Remember even fetish and fat chick porn sells)
