Yes. As Zuffa puts together their July 19th event as counter programming to the Afliction PPV they made an offer to Jake. Jake is still under contract to us and will fight in the PFC, with every intention of honoring his commitment, but he will not be participating in PFC 9.

There may be more PFC fighters, those that have already competed in the PFC numerous times getting UFC contracts very soon and we couldn't be more happy for them.

The one thing I will never do is stand in the way of a fighter maximizing their earnings. I am very proud of what we pay our PFC fighters, but if they can make more than we can afford them, or get a prime TV fight..I want that for them. We have a good relationship with Zuffa and as the lay of the MMA land settles I forsee a strong aliance and sharing of talent between the PFC and Zuffa owned organizations.

Jeromy Frietag was willing to move to heavyweight in order to get the fight with Jake O'Brien.

Mike Cook will return on 9/25 at PFC 10.

If Frietag remains on the card it will be at light heavyweight.

Christian, That is a very classy statement and refreshing to see in a day and age when promoters and promotions are a dime a dozen. promoters like yourself and Todd from cage combat deserve to be commended on being stand up gentlemen in a sometimes slime bag business.
