First off I would like to thank you for taking the time to sit with me to give the fans an opportunity to see what makes the ROOSTER TICK!!
HIT BOY:
I would like to throw a few names out at you, now the names I am going to throw at you are the top welter or middleweights i think would match up well with you.
Brett Cooper, Bryan Travers, James Fanshier, Jamie Jara, Nate Loughran, Kenny Ento, and last but not least the "Hit Boy" ( just kidding) Tell me in your words how each fight would end and your thoughts on each fighter i just mentioned.
ROOSTER:
I don't speculate on fantasy matches involving myself and all those are good fighters but the proof is in the pit so i will not answer the question.
HIT BOY:
How is preparing for this title shot different from all the others?
ROOSTER:
Its different because originally i was not preparing for a title shot then it was sprung on me a month out. so proper preperation and measures were really not made for this match.
HIT BOY:
You are a force to be feared by all middle and welterweights, hell even the heavyweight division, when you finally walk away from the sport, what do you see yourself doing and what do you want to take away from the sport and what do you want to leave behind?
ROOSTER:
I thank you for the flattering remarks, when im through with the sport of mma i see myself enjoying my family my roosters and what freedoms we have left in this country. i wouldnt want to take away from the sport i would only want to add to it and what i would like to leave behind is the legacy and much needed respect of the roosters courage and inspiring spirit.
HIT BOY:
What dreams do you have? UFC? WEC? PRIDE?
ROOSTER:
Pride
HIT BOY:
Where do you train?
ROOSTER:
Out "ROOSTER NATION" and out of "Team Buhawe" in fresno, CA
HIT BOY:
Who has been your toughest fight and why?
ROOSTER:
Jeff newton and wes smiley because they were my earliest and mind opening to the conditioning that is needed in the sport of mma.
HIT BOY:
What message do you want to send to our youth?
ROOSTER:
Dont give up on your dreams and goals and always eduacate
yourself before you judge a subject whatever it may be.
HIT BOY:
why do you fight?
ROOSTER:
i fight for those who cannot and will not and to show those who will what kind of determination and hard work it takes, and it is also an expression of my body and soul. (self gradification)
HIT BOY:
who is the Rooster? better yet, who is Dustin Arden?
ROOSTER:
the rooster is my souls vehicle an dustin arden is mma in a nutshell.
HIT BOY:

ROOSTER:
My training schedule is intense and grueling and not for the timid.
HIT BOY:

HIT BOY
: Who sponsors the ROOSTER?
ROOSTER:
Who would like to?
HIT BOY:
Dustin, is there anyone you would like to thank in closing?
Rooster:
I would like to thank my Family and Friends for supporting my inner person, I am a very humble person and a man that holds his word as his bond.
Thanks Dustin for allowing Hit Boy the opportunity to learn about the Rooster, you are an animal in the cage and a very respectful person. I was scared as hell to do this interview, not knowing what to expect, haha but as many before me have said, "Dustin is one of the nicest people you will ever meet."
Thanks again, on behalf of Team Hit Boy we wish you much success.Keep knockin em out!!
