To all heavyweight fighters who wish to showcase there talent, it's time to make your name known now. Cause realisticly I don't believe I've seen to many heavy's showin more than a few too many pounds around the edges.
Put your name out there and TAKE fights, that's the only way your going to be seen.
If I go watch a juggler throw around some bowling pins and I try it a few times. Does that make me Juggler?

well if you juggle....then you might be a juggler.....if you fight once in an event does that not make you a fighter....it's like ali no longer fights so is he not a boxer?

Charles Price here, I'm still training. I blew my ACL and tore my miniscus last August playing freakin flag football. I had surgery in November, I'm still rehabbing it taking things slow working on my hands and some ground. I hope I get a chance to compete any where that will have me on their card at the end of this year. Big props to my boy Punchy(Van Palacio) on taking the fight with Wes Sims(show what the fat boys are made of lol).

Now i could be way off here but from what i know there were alot of very good talent that stepped up but were not chosen to fight wes. there are plenty of heavyweights out there that would of taken that fight with wes. but i dont think anyone with a proven record would of been chosen since wes was the main draw. i could be wrong here but I just dont like how our local boys are losing or are being fed to the bigger names. sure what fighter would pass up the chance to fight a big name. "none"

I like that anyone willing 2 step up 2 ya. I myself sure am I have been on alot of drugs this month but it's all good now. I had my LAT in my knee torn which if you don't know that's what holds your knee cap in place but i got it fixed doing rehab now I hope to come back from this soon. If I could have walked I would have taken the fight but when you can't walk or move it's hard. But I'm not 2 worried July isn't far away:D

You sound like a game fighter...but you still left yourself cloaked under the screen name, usually when tyring to find an opponent people throw out relevent facts like their real name (I see a screen name and a nickname), the academy they train at, why they must resort to a message board to get a fight, something about their style of training, for all we know you could be a anorexic sumo wrestler that got kicked outta Japan for the binge and purge. Or you could have added a keyboard to you bridge side condo? Guarding the Bay Bridge from earth quakes? The Golden Gate from terrorist? Or a youngster still guarding smaller/no name bridges over irrigation canals?

I'm just saying, alot of people have the desire to keyboard their way to victory, but the people that are serious, and have the best luck signing a fight bring somethin to the table to make the organization want them. They train at...or have trained for X number of years...have an amature boxing background...JC wrestling.... The ones that have failed over the years are the, "Hi, I'm Bob and I can kick alotta ass..." In todays MMA world the untrained fighter doesn't have a prayer, and for the safety of the fighter and the possitive promotion of the sport, they don't seem to get a shot. (Not since the UFC was dupped by the grusome twosome of Kimo the fraud and iron balls Joe Son has anyone pulled that off)
A better question might be put, did you get any POSSITIVE responses from that post?
I don't have anything to do with getting you a fight for anyone...except offer some guidance. You might get to sell tickets for/fight for GC with that resume, but I doubt it will get you much farther out of the gate.
As far as walking the walk, I fought one smoker, and managed to live thru 10 years of BJJ/Subgrappling w/out quitting...or excelling for that matter.

You were a pleasure to work with and provided a highlight reel win. What more could be asked of you?
