LEMOORE — Mixed martial arts fans in the Central Valley have been waiting for a fight like this one for Lemoore’s Kenny Ento.

Thursday, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino Entertainment Director Christian Printup inked a deal with Ento (6-1) and North Hollywood’s Lodune Sincaid (9-4).

Sincaid, an Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran and former World Extreme Cagefighting light heavyweight wolrd champion, will tangle with Ento at a catch weight of 195 pounds on the March 22nd Palace Fighting Championship “Fast and Furious” card.

“We’re very excited to make this bout between Lodune Sincaid and Kenny Ento,” Printup said. “Kenny has wanted an opportunity to step up his level of competition and Sincaid is a former WEC light heavyweight world champion definitely represents the greatest challenge of Ento’s career.”

Sincaid lost his WEC title by knockout to Visalia’s Doug Marshall (5-2) in August.

“I’m pretty excited about this fight. It’s another fight for me and hopefully one of many,” Ento said. “I think he’s a good opponent for me. It’s a good match-up. He beat James Irvin, but Marshall knocked his block off. I hope I can do the same.”

Sincaid is on a 2-fight losing streak, also falling to Las Vegas’ Jason Miller (17-5) in July in the World Fighting Alliance. He also normally fights at 205 pounds.

Meanwhile, Ento has strung together four straight wins at 185 pounds. He most recently defeated Tulare’s Roy Arriola (1-2) by technical knockout at PFC1 in Jan.

“I think that fighting at 195 will be OK,” Ento said. “I know he usually fights bigger. I won’t have to cut much weight. It should be a great fight. I know we will both bring it.”

Also announced for PFC2 is a bout between Arizona’s Rage in the Cage veteran Richie Hightower (6-1) of Arizona and David Mitchell (3-0) at 185 pounds.

Hightower recently beat Dominic Flores (2-1) in Sept by decision and is on a 4-fight win streak.

Mitchell defeated Jeff Harmon (0-2) by rear-naked-choke at Cage Combat Fighting Championships in Nov. Mitchell trains with David Terrell (6-2) and Santa Rosa’s Tyson Griffin (8-0).

“Richie Hightower versus David Mitchell has fight-of-the-night potential written all over it,” Printup said. “Hightower is a RITC vet and trains with Rick Roufus and David Mitchell is a very strong, undefeated, submission fighter, who trains with David Terrell and Tyson Griffin. Both guys are hungry and I guarantee they’ll leave everything in the ring.”

In other scheduled bouts:

— In the main event, Columbus Ohio’s Wes “The Project” Sims (17-8-1) takes on Tulare’s Anthony Fuller (1-2) in a heavyweight bout.

— Oroville’s Shawn Bias (9-3) is scheduled to fight Randy Spence (10-7) of Chico at 145 pounds.

— In a welterweight bout, Poterville’s Morris Aldaco (3-0) takes on Taft’s Doug Hunt (1-0).

— Visalia’s Darren Crisp (3-1) is slated for a lightweight battle with Bakersfield’s Josh McCartney (1-0).

Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 19th and will be priced at $20, $30 and $40. Tickets can be purchased at the Tachi Palace gift shop or by calling 1-866-4-PALACE. Tickets are also available in Fresno at New Era Martial Arts and Pacific Martial Arts and in Hanford at the Valley Fight Club.

VIP Seats are available to members of the Tachi Palace’s Premier Club, a free, rewards based Player Club system. Interested parties are encouraged to see a Guest Service Representative at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino for more information.

is ento moving up in weight? why isnt he fighting true 185 pounders. im thinking he is having trouble cutting the weight. our fight was to be at 190 than moved up to 195 two weeks before the fight. something dont sound right here. ento should be moving down in weight not up. he is playing with fire if u ask me.

Kenny has no, zero, zilch problems making 185. We thoguht it would be easier for you to make 195 Roy to be honest. He had to stay eating to hold the weight.

If Ento should beat Sincaid he will earn a PFC Middleweight 185 lb title shot.

Christian.......with all due respect and much love......how does fighting 2 fights at 195 earn Ento a shot at a the 185 title? As for increasing the weight for me? I heard a differant story? 190 would have been no problem to cut to....i was xpecting the fight top be at 185...But ill be honest when i got the call about the fight being moved to 195 I WAS happy to hear the news... all im saying is that Ento should be fighting at his weight class against true middle weights to EARN a SHOT at the TITLE......You know i got love for you daaaaaaawwwwg

i woulda had no problem cutting to 185 either, i thought you needed the weight moved up. i walk around 195. when i was training for irvin, i was 185 for a 195 fight. i was in better shape for that fight though. i found out about the weight change about 1 1/2 weeks prior to the fight, i had way more then enough time to make weight. i was told that you needed the weight above 185, i was good.
