I thought that fight was a draw. I dont remember either of them doing any damage. Reedy would get the takedown and then FA would just get up. I wish someone would have taken more chances and tried to finish.

Well, that makes scoring easy takedown 2 escape 1...Reedy winner no question.

Well I would have to say that Reedy fought a way different fight then what I expected.... but .... I thought it could have gone either way.. I mean the scoring system in MMA is garbage.. if you take some one down you get points but if you do nothing with it and the guy stand right back up I think that should be like a draw .... I did think that in the second round FA should have finished the fight those knees were landing... and when he got full mount i thought it was going to be over.... well I deff think FA needs to fight him again and get that back.... but I still would love to see him in the PFC....

Yeah FA might have got in some good knees. I still think it was a pretty even fight. I dont really know how the refs came to a unamimous decision. and that 2 point for a takedown, 1 point for the escape is wrestling, i think mma uses boxings scoring system. i dont think that people realize that full guard is a neutral position.

Hmm.. If you get points ** for taking someone down, should that someone get Points ** for standing up? It would only seem fair? (That way, the taker down HAS to do something with it to actually get Points ** and conversly, the taken down/stader upper has to do something standing to negate the take down? Aristotle would have a blast with MMA scoring, we should send Bill & Ted back to get him.

The scoring system (a 10pt must) is a really great idea, if they were willing to use all 10 points! Why have them, they're like balls on a priest (no wait, those get used on little kiddies very regular) umm...
like a penis with ED, its there, and you see it, but you sure as hell don't use it for what you think it should be used for.
Atleast 5 of the 10 points are purely decromental. Lets be bold, go to a 5pt must system, then actually use them. And, make the scoring for the subsequent rounds based on what happens in the first round.
Yes, and lets not feel the overwhelming desire to "pick a winner" the judge needs to be damm sure that guy won the round befroe giving it to him. When two judges give it to 1 guy, and one gives it to the other it is a 2 points swing for a guy that may have lost the round. Go 5-5 unless your sure, this mental coin flip shit is for the birds.
If a guy "wins" the first round, but nothing special, go 5-4.
If a guy wins the 2nd, nothing special, but much more decisively than the first, he deserves that to be noted, go 5-3
If one REALLY kicks ass in the third, 5-2
Recognize that all rounds are not equal, nor should they be shown to be on the scorecards.

I hate the BJ v. GSP type fights, were a guy CLEARLY and CONVINCINGLY kicks a guys ass in a round, wins another, then the other guy (at best) Eeeks out 3 rounds and victory, when he plain out lost "The fight" but didn't win the necessary number of rounds.

All I can say is ever judge uses what they know if they have a boxing wrestling background that is how they score...If they have Muay Thai adn BJJ that is how they score...If they have little knowledge then that is how it seems they scored this fight.

HB, you've overlooked the obvious. FA can't fight Poppies. Why? Because FA once trained with a guy, who used to go to an academy with a guy, who's cousin once played Poppies in a game of beer pong, therefore, they are like brothers and obviously can't fight each other, get real HB.

FA just kept getting up after every take down/trip but, Reedy took some serious shots as well. Think I agree with Ento on this one.
