In recent economic news, 1st quarter 2007 productivity and GDP estimates for the central and northern California region have been downgraded by a quarter point (.25%), because the Palace Fighting Championship Forum is now up and running. Experts anticipate numerous wasted work hours as fight fans and fighters can once again talk, debate, stir the pot, troll, and otherwise avoid doing real work! LOLOL

Just kidding, great to be back! Thanks Christian for keeping MMA alive in this area in both the real and virtual world, EVERYONE owes you one. Looking forward to a great first show.

Gonna be like old times. And did I really beat BRO to post here? Score!

I was sorry to hear the WEC moved out to Vegas. I like the WEC but isn't that kind of like moving a minor league baseball team too close to its major league sponsor? I'm probably wrong.

I am very glad that MMA shows will still be at the palace. I can drive 3 hours. Thank you, Christian for maintaining MMA shows in the CV.

Juniper,
The pleasure is ours. We are very confident in the PFC as a product. I am confident and absed on the calls from fighters and agents lately that we will continue to blend the sports up and coming stars, highlight California's best and brightest prospects and round out the events with well established UFC/PRIDE/and WEC vets.

We promise to keep working hard to continue to fine tune the PFC. As it was when we co-built the WEC it takes time, but that worked out pretty well and I'm confident that we can do the same again.

3/22/07--PFC 2...tickets on sale soon.

From what I have been told that Doug and other Valley grown WEC fighters can fight in the PFC as long as they are not WEC Champions at the time and of course Zuffa would have to approve of the matchmaking. Totally understandable, thats what we do with our boxers.

We'll see how things shake out..
