I have a thread on the UG, "Old Wec Forum is now...", which is to let people know we're back. So make some noise and help the PFC out.

Oh ya, so whats the "rulez" of this forum? Can we talk out our asses(respectfully of course) or do we need to stick to the PFC?

Or will there be another forum for non-fight stuff?

Ruger..Thank you for the support and continued top of mind awareness on the UG.

As far as rules here goes..I'll start off by saying that even though the word moderator is underneath my name, I really don't even know how to use all the functions anyways..I'm just lucky my snausages-like fingers allow for me to even type on standard size key boards!

Does the talk have to be only PFC related? Naw, not by any means but I would hope everyone would treat others with class and as they would like to be treated.

Discussions are going to get heated from time to time, people are not always going to see eye to eye--thats the way the world is...but as long as we don't see threats, derogatory name calling or things of that nature..talk away.

Discuss the PFC, WEC,UFC, PRIDE, StrikeForce, Elite XC, GC, KOTC, IFC, whatever..it's all good...all I ask is when a PFC rolls around you show some love and buy a ticket! I promise you'll get your money's worth and then some!

The cards will always be entertaining, we will be able to showcase more of the local talent that hadn't had an opportunity to compete in the WEC previously and we WILL feature WEC, UFC, PRIDE, vets on every show..We will only continue to get better.

At the end of the day the PFC was born by default. Did we expect to not have the WEC here on 1/18?..hell no..we even had it advertised in the local newspapers..but thats life..some things are out of our control. But what wasn't out of our control was our commitment to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, the fighters, and the faithful and loyal Central Valley fans who were the lifeblood of the "old" WEC.

We are not attempting to compete with any other organizations, we are not interested in locking fighters into exclusive multi-fight contracts..what we are focused on is providing the fighters with a quality show to fight in with great production values, better purses, incentive bonuses, where they are treated like the professional athletes they are.

We are committed to delivering a product to the fans that transcneds just "having fights"..any promotional entity, casino, whatever can put up a ring, or cage lay some chairs down and open the doors...people will buy tickets people will come out no matter what because since the beginning of recorded history people like to see other people fight each other.

The fighters and the fans have made this sport grow into that it is..not any three lettered promotional brand. The fighters are our brand.
I promise the fighters will not find a show that will treat them any better than we will.

The Palace Fighting Championship came together in 41 days from concept to sold out show because first and foremost The Tachi-Yokut tribe, the Tachi palace and it's Executive Mgmt did not believe that the fighters and fans should have to suffer because others thought Lemoore did not fit their image. And we sold it out with only 19 days of traditional advertising--thatsnks to loyal fans, and friends like yourself.

Do I expect the PFC to completely fill the shoes of the "old" WEC, Hell yes.
The same team is in place that did everything but make the fights...and I have two great matchmakers helping us get these fights made..and we are definitely kicking things up a notch...especially for those who want to see Kenny Ento "tested" as they say...buy your tickets early.

If you get a chance to tell anyone about the PFC, we'd really appreciate it..help spread the word...this is "your" show.

Peace

Christian

Like Christian said, I'm not even sure how to moderate this forum yet. This thing is all still pretty new to us.

I know Christian and I have talked about many ideas for the forum and site itself. Expect changes as we roll along.

Also, never be shy about giving us some ideas and or suggestions.

Thanks

That was one hell of a classy post. No one could ever question your dedication to the sport. What you, the Palace, and the Tachi Tribe have done is simply amazing. We all owe you our gratitude for the comitment you guys have made. I am sure that you can count on all of us to do anything we can. All you have to do is ask, and we are here for you.
