I think the Herbal Predator stepped in a little quick for the stand-up in this contest. Gonzaga might not have been the most active guy to watch in the cage, but he was plenty active to be allowed to continue.
(I know, GG won, so no harm no foul. NO! Fix things before they cause a problem when possible)

He was inflicting damages, active, and in control. EVEN if taking out of consideration who was better standing/ground, the damages he was inflicting would/could have an effect on the outcome of the fight in later rounds...had they occured. The cut, the concusion factor, swelling, confidence, and last but not least, POINTS on the Scorecards.

THe Herbal Predator should have let the fight continue on the ground. Lets not forget, GG ate a powerful Cro kick to the body just for the chance to get to the ground. I think it was (a failed) an attempt to put Cro back in possition to win the round...if not the fight.

The UFC has paid big money to a couple of Pride Fighters to come over previous to the purchase of DSE, Heath (Swet Angel) Hearing and Cro Cop have not exactly been the most impressive since the change in venue.

PS: I had a nightmare Don King started promoting MMA!!!!!

Marika nailed this one...with her instincts from Brasil. She won @ the bar $160.00 thanks to that unexpected Gonzaga kick.

I was surprised when they were stood up, it seemed to me that things were still happening on the ground. I think they should of made Arlovski and Fabrico get on the ground in the second and third round, that was the sorriest excuse for a cage fight I have ever seen.
